Overview
This privacy policy explains how I handle data on wesdieleman.com, my personal portfolio website.
Analytics
I use Umami for privacy-respecting analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. I only see anonymized, aggregated stats (for example: page views and referrers) to understand which portfolio pages are useful.
Contact Form
When you send a message through my contact form, your message and email address are processed by Resend (email delivery). I use this data only to reply to your inquiry. I do not sell or share your contact details for advertising or marketing.
Cookies
This portfolio does not use tracking cookies. UI preferences (theme, accent color, wallpaper) may be stored in your browser's local storage so the site remembers your settings. That data stays on your own device.
Third-Party Services
Aside from Umami (analytics) and Resend (contact form email delivery), I do not use ad trackers, ad networks, or embedded social widgets that profile visitors.
Hosting & Media
My portfolio is hosted on Vercel, and media assets are served through Cloudflare R2. These providers process request-level data needed to serve pages and assets.
GDPR Compliance
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data I hold about you. Because this site collects very limited personal data, requests usually relate to contact form messages.
